I recently had the pleasure of hosting a workshop at The Link, Toormina, and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, (The Function Manager) Kylie’s warm welcome set the tone. Graham (Operations Manager) met me in the car park and offered assistance with my belongings, going out of his way to ensure I had a smooth start to my day. Graham also kindly directed me to a more convenient parking area for easy unloading—a small gesture that made a big difference. Throughout the planning process, the team proved exceptionally flexible. They accommodated a few changes I needed such as access times, catering times and equipment within the room, making it effortless to tailor the space to suit my workshop’s requirements. As this was the first workshop within the series, Kylie and the team ensured everything ran seamlessly. Thanks to the Donovan’s team with regards to catering, the brownies were a huge hit! When it comes to technology – the internet was reliable and fast. Setting up the tech equipment was a breeze—a crucial aspect that contributed to the smooth flow of my presentations and discussions. The venue itself is beautiful. The Reflections Bungalow was full of natural light, free from obstructive pillars, which made it perfect for presentations and smaller meetings. The surrounding grounds are beautifully appointed, offering ample space for breakout sessions, and refreshing for morning and afternoon tea breaks outdoors, amidst the fresh air. The grounds and event spaces are easily accessible. I am already looking forward to my next workshops booked throughout 2025, it will be our go to venue from here on in. The Link isn’t just a venue; it’s a partner in creating a conducive and inspiring environment for productive workshops, meetings, conferences and events.
