Lorraine’s 100th Birthday Celebration

Lorraine is one of our residents at Sawtell Catholic Care and is truly remarkable for 100!!

This event was booked in advance and Lorraine and her family were so excited to be holding the milestone Birthday at The Link. Lorraine attends regular weekly tap dance classes at Julie Ross Dance Studio and surprised her family and friends by her local tap dance class coming to perform with Lorraine at her 100th Birthday Celebration in the Pavilion. Lorraine started tap dancing at the age of 70 and has been dancing ever since and looks forward to her weekly exercise activity.

A beautiful 100th Birthday Celebration was held complete with Lorraine’s letter from the King and key parliamentary members.

Lorraine is an inspiration to us all and we wish you many more years of dancing.

Special thanks to you all. How blessed are we to have a venue like The Link and a group of staff who make using this facility such a great experience. Celebrating mums 100th at The Link on Saturday was truly memorable for all the family and friends who participated. To single out individuals is fraught with danger as I will undoubtedly miss one of you but we know who you are and your professionalism and friendly communication is a true bonus to all who use your facility. Mum..well mum was so so happy with how it all went. Out of town family were so impressed by the beautiful setting you have created and took advantage of the ability to move around in the gardens while the children played on the lawns or in the playground
